A headboard has the potential to make or break a bedroom. A great headboard can turn a mundane sleeping quarters into a room that is not only inviting, but has a splash of glamour to enhance your chambre à couchee. A perfect example of a headboard making a room complete is this fabulous Paul Evans piece found at an antique showroom in Chicago.
Paul Evans was a furniture designer and mixed-metal sculptor in bronze, silver and gold, Paul Evans first earned public notice with an exhibition that included his work in 1957 at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York City. Evans' architectural notes combined with a design pallet that takes inspiration from urban life and structure can add a beautiful and chic addition to a number of spaces.
